Happy Labor Day Weekend! Can you believe it? This weekend marks the “unofficial” end of summer and the beginning of fall! Y’all know summer is my very favorite season, but I must say that the idea of all the fun fall brings has me pretty excited! Bring on the football, family time, and pumpkin everything! We’ve gathered all the best Labor Day weekend sales in one convenient place, so you can spend less time searching and more time enjoying the weekend with your loved ones. From end-of-summer steals to fall fashion, home finds, and more, there are some really good deals happening this weekend! We’ll be updating this post as we spot new sales, so be sure to check back.
Our Labor Day Weekend Plans
We leave for Atlanta on Thursday to spend the weekend with friends cheering on Baylor as they play Auburn on Saturday, September 5 at 2:30 pm CT at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. (You can see some of the outfits I’ll be wearing this weekend HERE.) We’re staying at the team hotel right next door to the stadium and looking forward to the time away. We decided to go Thursday because we wanted to check out the famous Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park on Friday before attending an alumni event that night.
We’ll be home on Sunday, and we’re so excited to check the progress they’re going to make on our new empty-nester remodel late this week. They’re finally pouring the foundation for our two additions! We’ll spend Monday packing up to move over to our son and daughter-in-law’s to take care of one-year-old Jack next week as almost four-year-old Lily heads to Walt Disney World with Mom and Dad!
Another thing I’m going to do this weekend is shop! The deals are good! Not only can you find bargains on wear-now and summer items, but in the case of many brands, they’ve also put fall items on sale too!
Suzy’s Pro Tip: Look for the brands offering sitewide discounts! That’s code for new arrivals on sale, and it probably also means they’ve taken an additional discount off already reduced merchandise! Talbots is a great example — they’re offering 25% to 40% off wear now styles + extra 30% off markdowns (final sale). The sale goes through 9/4.
