Why I Love This Trend

One of my favorite things about this trend is that it’s incredibly wearable. In fact, you may already have everything you need in your closet! Easy outfit combinations include white pants and a striped shirt, a navy dress with raffia sandals or Mary Janes (I own and love THESE), a white cotton popover shirt (I love this one because it’s not see-through 👀) paired with denim, or a red cardigan worn with a sundress. These are the kinds of outfits that always look put together and never feel trendy in a bad way.

I’ve been seeing beautiful Modern Americana pieces everywhere this summer. Talbots, Tuckernuck, and Vineyard Vines have some gorgeous classic styles, while J. Crew Factory, Lands’ End, and Quince are great for everyday staples like white denim and linen pieces. And Target, Walmart, and Amazon have some surprisingly cute striped tops, summer dresses, and accessories that fit the trend perfectly.
