Love is in the air, and I can’t think of a sweeter way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by adding little pops of love—whether that’s to your home, your outfit, or both. ❤️

I’ve always loved the idea of a holiday that’s all about love, hearts, and joy! (Are y’all surprised?) At my house, as soon as Christmas décor goes into storage, the Valentine’s décor comes right out. Anybody else? 😄 Bob just shakes his head and says, “Well, buh-bye Christmas… hello Valentine’s Day!”

This year, instead of separating Valentine’s décor and Valentine’s style into two different posts, I wanted to bring them together. Because sometimes Valentine’s Day looks like heart pillows, a cheerful doormat, and a festive table runner—and sometimes it looks like a cozy sweatshirt with a hint of pink, a fun accessory, or a touch of red lipstick. And some years? It’s both.

Whether you’re decorating your home, dressing yourself for the season, or doing a little of each, I hope today’s post inspires you to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a way that feels joyful, cozy, and very you. 💗

Dress Your Home for Valentine’s Day ❤️

There are so many easy ways to sprinkle love and warmth throughout your home this time of year. From wreaths and doormats to cozy pillows, festive table décor, garlands, and paper goods, a few simple touches can instantly make your space feel cheerful and welcoming.

Wreaths & Doormats

Welcome your guests with a dose of love by sprucing up your entryway with Valentine’s Day wreaths and doormats! For wreaths, think about heart-shaped designsvibrant reds, or playful pink hues to instantly set a loving tone. As for doormats, consider ones with sweet messagesheart-shaped, or charming love-themed prints. It’s a simple way to make your doorstep feel extra warm and inviting during the love-filled season.

Throw Pillows/Blankets

Bring the love and warmth of Valentine’s Day into your home using cozy blankets and throw pillows. How adorable is this XOXO pillow? Simply scatter a couple of heartwarming pillows on the sofa, cover your favorite chair with a soft blanket (I just found the dreamiest, snuggle-worthy blanket brand and you can use code EMPTYNESTBLESSED for 35% off their blankets sitewide!). Let the cozy vibes of Valentine’s Day be a reminder to love others well. 💕

Tablescapes & Garlands

I love to decorate my table for Valentine’s Day even if I don’t plan on hosting a big dinner. It just brings joy to my heart, and I think that’s enough reason right there. I’m eyeing this adorablebeaded hearts table runner, and I also love the idea of adding this cute felt scallop heart garland along the edge of a buffet or shelves nearby, plus a darling flameless heart candle to give the table the coziest little glow.

Date Night/Galentine’s

Date night and Galentine’s outfits are the perfect excuse to have a little fun with your wardrobe! Whether you’re heading out to dinner with your sweetheart or meeting your best girlfriends for laughs and dessert, I love pulling together something that feels festive and flattering. Think pretty pinks, pops of red, soft neutrals, and just a touch of sparkle or romance. From chic tops to flirty skirts and easy dresses, these looks are all about feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to make sweet memories—no matter how you’re celebrating.

An easy and great way to add a touch of Valentine’s to any outfit is with accessories. How cute is this heart-shaped purse? This stylish clutch would be perfect for a date night, and this large tote bag is great for an afternoon of errands. Earrings are another way to add a heart theme to an outfit.
