Game Day Accessories | The Newest Trends to Know

Just like the accessories you wear daily, game day accessories keep you on trend and updated for football weekends! The best thing about game day accessories? They can be a little (or a lot!) over the top! If there was ever a time to be “extra,” game day is that time!

We all know that stadium bags have to be clear, and while regulations may vary, a common size requirement is a bag that does not exceed 12” x 6” x 12. Also worth noting: clear bags must be completely clear and not tinted in color. Two big trends we’re seeing this year:

Clear Belt Bags

Just like the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag that restarted the belt bag trend, these clear, stadium-approved bags can be worn around the waist or around the chest. Here are some of my favorite options.

I bought THIS one from Kendra Scott for my birthday! (What? Doesn’t everyone give themselves a birthday gift?! 🎁😂) It’s just $35, and I think it’s super classy. It’s a rectangle (similar to the shape of the Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag, and I love the clean white trim.

Belt Bag Straps

If you’d rather carry the traditional crossbody game day bag, then this year, you might want to consider updating it with a custom strap in your team’s logo or colors! Extra credit if your strap is reversible or beaded! Here are some of the cutest we found.

Boots & Booties

When it comes to shoes, you’ll need a good pair of boots or booties that you can walk in comfortably. I’d go for white or a neutral taupe (unless your school colors are black!). The newest look is a western-style bootie, so if you’re in the market for a new pair, consider that option first! If you’re concerned about the weather, look for waterproof booties!

Most game days, you can find me in sneakers! I usually wear white or green Allbirds or a pair of white platform sneakers. It’s a clean, comfortable option on a day when my feet are the last thing I want to think about!

Men’s Custom-Designed Nike Air Force 1s

If you really want to bring it, consider a pair of custom hand-painted Adidas Superstars or Nike Air Force 1s! Other options? Custom hand-painted Vans or Chuck Taylor high tops. Finally, you can go right to the Nike website and design your own custom Air Force 1s. It’s more affordable than you might think, and it makes a great gift for women or for men.
