What We Actually Bought in the 2026 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hey, sweet friends! After sharing our best tips and tricks for shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and telling you all about the fall trends we spotted in the Nordstrom Sale, Beth and I thought it would be fun to show you which pieces actually made it into our carts AND what we bought for our husbands! (Because the NSale is the ideal time to give your man a little fashion update!)

ENGLISH FACTORY Gingham Puff Sleeve Midi Shirtdress

Gingham Puff Sleeve Midi Shirtdress (PICTURED ABOVE) – You know I cannot resist gingham! I love the feminine sleeves and flattering midi length. I can wear it with sandals now and flats or boots this fall.
Floral Short Sleeve Cardigan (PICTURED AT THE TOP OF THIS POST) – This darling cardigan that I am wearing above adds color and pattern to jeans, pants, or a skirt. It is such a fun piece for church, lunch with friends, or date night.
Crop Ruffle Trim Faux Leather Jacket (PICTURED BELOW) – The ruffle trim gives this faux leather jacket a sweet feminine twist. I plan to wear it over dresses and with jeans once the weather cools down.

Beth’s Picks

Zella Crossover Boot Cut Leggings – These flattering leggings offer the comfort of activewear while still looking polished enough to wear out and about. Beth recently started yoga, so she can wear them to class and then head straight to errands, lunch, or whatever else the day holds.
Button Front Cotton Crewneck Cardigan – This casual cardigan is such an easy piece to throw on with jeans. The button front and classic crewneck give it a simple, polished look
Suede Mary Jane Ballet Flats – Beth didn’t have anything suede in her closet, so she said these Mary Jane flats felt like the perfect way to try the trend. Since the weather stays warm well into fall in Florida, she will be able to wear them with jeans, pants, and dresses throughout the season.

What We Bought For the Guys

We worked with Bob and Randy to find some updated men’s clothing that will work for church, dinners, travel, and casual weekends. Nordstrom’s own “Nordstrom Men” brand is where I always tell people to look when shopping for their men. The styles are updated, the quality is excellent, and the prices are always better than the name brands!

Cotton Oxford Non-Iron Dress Shirt – Every year, Bob uses the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale to stock up on his favorite Nordstrom Men’s brand dress shirts, and this classic non-iron style is one he reaches for again and again.
9 Inch High Drape Performance Shorts – These shorts were such a hit with Bob that he bought two pairs! He likes the comfortable fit and polished look.
Stretch Weekday Warrior Slim Fit Dress Pants – Bob also picked up these stretch dress pants. They have a sharp, tailored look but still feel comfortable enough to wear all day.
Organic Cotton Blend Quarter Zip Pullover – Randy is always drawn to an easy quarter zip, and this lightweight one is perfect for Florida and other places where fall weather does not get too cold.
TravisMathew Piqué Button Down Polo – This polo is right up Randy’s alley. It is relaxed and comfortable but still looks pulled together.
Johnnie O Suave Plaid Button Down Shirt – Randy had been wanting to try Johnnie O, so finding this classic plaid shirt in the sale was the perfect opportunity.

So there you have it! These are the pieces that made it into our closets, and we cannot wait to start wearing them.
