2025 Spring & Summer Accessories — Styles to Know & Love

We all know that accessories are one of the easiest and most affordable ways to update an outfit! This year, the statement accessory story is all about texture, fruit and sea life motifs, and all things girly pearls and bows🎀! Today, I’m running down the 2025 Spring & Summer Accessories you need to know!

Key Accessory Trends

• Bows & Ribbons – All things girly are going strong, and the bow is back for all ages (although not necessarily in your hair)! Feel a little old for the bow trend? Ribbons are an chic alternative.
• Sea Life Motif – We’re seeing lots of shells in jewelry and more. Check out this beautiful shell charm bracelet and this statement-making necklace.
• Floral Motif – The perfect example of this? These darling $10 flip flops that are totally adorable!
• Texture – From wicker to straw to raffia and even caning, look for bags and shoes with tons of textural elements.
• Pearls – Pearls are having a moment! See them integrated into handbags, shoes, and (of course) jewelry.

We all love going hands free, so crossbody bags will never go completely out of style. That said, they’re not the trending bag of the season. If you love yours, look for a smaller, top handle bag that comes with a crossbody strap option. (Like mine, above!)

1. Top Handle Bags

Ladylike and lovely, top handle bags are an elegant and practical choice. I love the way they blend business and style for a chic statement. My assistant Beth, found this pretty top handle bag. It looks so high-end, but the price is amazing! Extra points 🏅when you combine two trends with this well-priced leather top handle bag, featuring an adorable bow detail on the handle. Top handle bags are my favorite handbag style because they look so classic.

2. Textured Bags

Textured handbags are such a fun way to add interest to any outfit! Styles like this raffia tote and straw woven bag give a relaxed, summery feel, while pearls and floral details bring a touch of elegance and charm. Men have been rocking baseball caps as a sporty touch to a more polished ensemble for years. Also, look for unique patches or buttons to personalize your baseball cap for some extra fun. 2. Floppy Hats

Whether you’re shielding your face from the sun or just adding some drama to your look, a floppy hat is a must-have accessory. Plus, they’re super versatile, wear a floppy hat at the beach, a picnic, or even brunch for that effortless, stylish vibe!

Floppy hats/straw hats will never go out of style, just like good sun protection will never go out of style! Sunglasses

Makeup/Body Care

Nail Polish

From Tiffany Blue to Ocean Blue, blue nail colors are trending. (I love them on my toes!) Prefer a neutral? Try a light caramel or a grayish blue to stay fresh and on trend. Bare neutrals are gaining popularity as a natural, clean look for spring, and we love them! Think a light pink base and a milky finish. I’m obsessed with Olive & June’s Pink Goldfish shade, which is perfect for spring. Finally, we’re also seeing a lot of lavender for spring. Try Butter London’s Lavender for the ideal shade.

Lipstick

When it comes to lips this season, think high shine over your favorite bolder color. Hydrating (non-sticky) glosses infused with Hyaluronic Acid and lip oils are the trend of them moment. In my Friday Fun Newsletter (Sign up HERE!) a few weeks ago, I shared this Maybelline Hydrating Lifter Gloss with Hyaluronic Acid that enhances lip contour with shine. When it comes to lip oils, I love the shades in THIS lip oil collection but I’m also obsessed with E.L.F.’s affordable shades.

Thanks to Taylor Swift, long lasting cherry red lip stains are big too. If you feel like a bright cherry lip is a little much for you, opt for a lip oil in red for a softer, sheer look.

One viral lip trend I never saw coming is now Ulta’s best-selling product! It’s Sacheu’s Muah-ve Peel Off Lip Liner. As we age, we lose pigment in our lips, and if you don’t love reapplying lipstick, this product is a game-changer. The color looks intense in the tube but fades into a soft, natural stain once you peel it off. Wear it alone or top it with liner or gloss! Plus, it’s infused with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E for conditioning benefits. You’ll want to check the shade chart HERE to select a color that’s right for you. 1. Prep: Gently cleanse and exfoliate lips to remove dead skin. Wash lips and pat dry. Exfoliating will create a smooth canvas, so the peel-off film can develop evenly on your lip line and not on flakes. Do not use on chapped lips
2. Line: Using the precision-tip applicator, trace along the lip line in an even layer. Leave on for up to 20 minutes. After formula has set, use fingers to slowly peel the film tint off to unveil smudge-proof, long-wear lip color!
3. Finish: Complete with your favorite lip gloss or lip oil.

Body Care

The latest thing in sunscreen is SPF protection with a touch of shimmer, to create a beautiful glow. (Or try THIS drugstore brand.) I love this trend for a night out after a beachy day! Prefer a mineral-based sunscreen? Try Supergoop’s SPF 40 Glowscreen Soft-Radiance Drops. Want to skip the sun and self-tan with a little glow? THIS Glow & Protect gradual self tanner has SPF 30 is what I’m using!
