Mother’s Day can feel different for empty nesters depending on where they are in life! Right? For some of us, it’s a happy time to celebrate the women who raised us. But for others, it can be a sad time, with thoughts of those who aren’t with us anymore. As empty nesters, many of us are part of that “sandwich generation,” and we might have a daughter or daughter-in-law who is a mom herself. The day can definitely evoke a mix of feelings!

This Mother’s Day, I’m grateful to be able to celebrate my mom and my mother-in-law! It’s also on my heart to celebrate and encourage my daughter-in-law, who has a one-year-old.
