Holiday Decor Ideas to Make Your Home Merry & Bright

It’s time to deck the halls and get into the holiday spirit! 🎅🎄 As the days grow shorter and the air turns colder, there’s nothing quite like the joy of preparing our homes for the most magical time of the year. In today’s short post, we’re sharing holiday decor ideas to transform your space into a warm, welcoming winter wonderland.

I always try to add a few new decorations every year! (Along with tossing a few things that look “tired.”) Do you do that too? Whether it’s a new ornament for the tree, a festive wreath for the front door, a welcoming holiday doormat, or a cozy holiday throw blanket, I’m always looking for something that sparks joy in my heart.

When I’m looking for holiday decor, there are a few spots I love to shop! (The links below go right to the decor sections on each site.)

Oprah’s FAVORITE (and mine too!) Cozy Earth Bamboo SO SOFT Jogger Set (Use code CE-EMPTYNEST for 40% off) | Australian Sheepskin Slippers (I like these even better than my UGGs and they’re much cheaper!) | Spode Christmas Tree Latte Mug (I love a BIG mug!) | Needlepoint Stockings

I know this time of year can be stressful, and I’ve shared before that getting ahead and spreading things out over November and December makes me less stressed and more joyful. Our goal is to serve and inspire you by curating some of our favorite holiday decor, with the hope that it makes your life easier and saves you time!

Let me know in the comments if you find these short posts helpful and if you want to see more of them, okay?

  1. Hi Suzy,

Oooh, lots of great options to add to my holiday decor in this one. I followed your link to check out the blue and white nativity. But then the blue and white chinoiserie christmas tree caught my eye and I just had to get two of them. Thanks for another great post with some fun ideas, and the links to “follow through” on them – so wonderfully handy!

    Best,
