I do the same thing and leave it all up until after Thanksgiving. I’m always sad to see it go, but so excited for Christmas decor!

Fall is my favorite season for all the reasons you mentioned and also because of the wonderful anticipation of Christmas. I decorate for Fall on September 1 and leave it up through Thanksgiving. And this year I’m also having a Fall get-together for my girlfriends. I’m asking them to bring their fav fall treat (dessert or snack) to share and a $30 Fall accessory (candle, decor, scarf, etc.) for a white elephant exchange. Should be lots of fun, and I need to make sure they read your post bc of all the great ideas! Happy (Almost) Fall, my friend!
