I just love Valentine’s Day. Could there be a more precious holiday than one that celebrates love? I’m thrilled to share my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide with you today!
Whether you’re married or single, I know you’ve got people in your life that you want to share a little gift with this Valentine’s Day! Also, if you’re an empty nester, and your kids don’t live close by, you probably want a way to remind them you’re thinking of them on this special day. I’ve put together a list of ideas for you, along with some special discounts and offers just from Empty Nest Blessed partners to help you make gift giving easy and fun. I want to help you make the day of love one in which you can easily express your love, to those you love!
About the Valentine’s Day Gift Guide
I’ve never published a Valentine’s Day Gift Guide before, but my Holiday Gift Guide was so well-received this year, I decided to give it a shot in the hope that it could be helpful to you! I thought long and hard about how to do it. Like, it really started to stress me out! What I finally decided is to put together a pretty simple gift guide, with a “Gifts for Her” category and a “Gifts for Him” category. I didn’t include a section for grandkids, because I’m pretty sure Target has a great selection in that department! Instead, I focused on unique, thoughtful, and fun gift ideas that I thought you’d like, whether you’re giving to your spouse, adult kids, BFF, or parents. Also, because I’m not sure that too many people actually give expensive, big gifts for Valentine’s Day (Especially if you’ve been married as long as most of us have!), I mostly included ideas with lower price points.
I’m also excited to share some special offers from some of the brands I’ve partnered with before, and I’m so thankful that they’ve generously made these available for you all!

Download Cherry – If you live in the Dallas area, you need to check out this unique on-demand nail service! Every time I post about them, I get tons of DMs from people who are so sad that it’s not available in their area! I’m so sorry about that, y’all. But if you do live in Dallas, you might want to treat yo’self. (It’s an awesome thing to do with a girlfriend, daughter, or mom too, just sayin’!) Everything they do is waterless and hygienic, and they’ll come to your home, office, or wherever! Head to their website if you have questions and go to the App Store to download the app. Be sure to use the code Empty Nest Blessed for $10 off your first service!
Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics – Did you catch Wednesday’s post about the ah-mazing Revision Skincare Glo Getter Experience I had in early December? It jump-started my winter skincare routine, and I’ve been using Revision Skincare‘s line of products ever since! They’ve been wonderful for me, and, I shared my thoughts about it in the post. If a medical-grade facial with scientifically-based and effective products sounds like it’s right up your alley about now, you’re in luck! Dallas Center for Dermatology and Aesthetics is offering Empty Nest Blessed readers 20% off a HydraFacial Treatment with the code NEWYOUHYDRA (limit of 1 per person) between now and February 14. Go to their online store for more information. Also, Empty Nest Blessed readers can take 20% off all Revision Skincare products (no quantity limits) with the code NEWYOUREVISION between now and February 14 in the DCDA online store. (Note: They require purchasers to be registered users and patients of their practice.)
BTW, The doctors at DCDA have donated a Glo Getter Facial for the raffle at the FREE Makeup Class for Women Over Fifty that I’m hosting here in Dallas on Thursday, February 7! As if that were not enough, Revision Skincare is donating Intellishade TruPhysical, Papaya Enzyme Cleanser, and Black Mask Purifying Facial Mask. If you haven’t signed up for the class yet, please do it soon! You can find all the details and the link to the sign-up form here.
Soul Stonz – This is a new partner for me, and you’ll be hearing more about this feminine and lovely jewelry brand in the future! June Graham, the designer, is giving away a pair of her signature Heart Hoop Earrings at my Feb. 7 event. Also, I’ll be giving away the pair in the photo above Friday night on Instagram, so be sure to enter to win!
Front Porch Packages – Do y’all remember the post and subsequent Facebook Live I did with the awesome “Care Package Queens” from Front Porch Packages? I love this company—run by two empty nesters! They send care packages to your loved ones far away—doing all the shopping, wrapping, and shipping. (And yet you get the thank you!) They hand-decorate the box, pack it with over 40 items, and include a hand-written note of encouragement with a message that you provide on the order form. They’re generously offering a personalized cell phone wallet when you order a Valentine’s Day box with code ENB. Also, every person who orders by 2/28 using the code will be entered into a drawing for a FREE Birthday Box. The winner will be announced in March.
Time is Running Out!
If you haven’t signed up to attend the FREE Makeup Class for Women Over Fifty that I’m hosting here in Dallas from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, it’s time to do that. The actual class is limited to 12 people, and today is the last day to enter to win a spot. If you win a spot in the class, you’ll be bringing your own makeup, and Bebe and her staff will share their expert advice and instruction with you personally. (And the rest of us will watch, learn, and be super-jealous of how amazing you’re going to look!) To enter, head to the contest entry widget at the bottom of this post and complete as many of the entries as you’d like. If you’ve already completed some the entries (for example, if you’re already following Empty Nest Blessed on Instagram), click the entry anyway to get credit for it! I will announce the lucky winners in my post on Monday, January 28 and be in touch with the winners soon after that with all the details.
Just to clarify, your contest entry is not your RSVP! If you plan to attend the event you need to RSVP on the sign-up form in addition to entering the contest.
Happy Weekend! I hope you have fun plans! Bob is finally coming home from his two-week business trip, and I am going to be so glad to have him back. (Although I have to admit, I’ve enjoyed sleeping in the smack-dab middle of our bed while he’s been gone! Hahahaha!)
I’d love your thoughts on my Valentine’s Gift Guide! Please let me know my hits (and misses!), okay?
